I'm 38, and I never knew how truly funny Jack Benny was (is). Of course, I knew he was a legend, but after hearing some of these broadcasts, I now know why he is such a part of the American comic landscape. The episodes where Jack and company go skiing are hilarious--I haven't laughed so hard while listening to the radio. I can't help thinking that these episodes are a direct influence on "Seinfeld". The banter between the characters almost make this a "show about nothing".

Thanks a lot Paul! RMN needs a forums don't they? These Benny ski trips episodes from early 1940 were what really hooked me into the Benny show. This podcast series is to highlight examples of material that todays generation can relate to, and take the materal for bigger exposoure. ARE YOU THE ONLY ONE OUT THERE PAUL?!?!?
